The ischial bladders rests directly under the outer layer of the cover. By using the super 4-way stretch Lycra outer cover material, surface tension is significantly reduced, providing better immersion.
Fitting & adjustment made simple
The users’ anatomic shape and mass are the only tools needed to ensure a precise and optimal fit. The cushion is designed to react to the weight of the user to dictate the degree of immersion required. As soon as load is equally distributed the adjustment is complete.
- Pleated 4-way super stretch Lycra cover to eliminate cover tension
- Microclimatic spacer fabric layer over reticulated foam comfort layer for airflow
- Structural Foam Base with Fluid reservoir channels for individual fluid volume adjustment
- Bilateral Ischial Fluid inserts with mobile fluid for shear reduction
- Independent Trochanteric fluid inserts with stiffer fluid for stability
- Vents for pressure adjustment

Taking Measurements:

Seat Width:
- Locate the widest point between the armrests where the cushion will sit.
- Measure the distance from one armrest to the other in a straight line.
- Note: If your armrests are removable or adjustable, measure the desired width for your cushion placement.

Seat Depth:
- Measure the distance from the back of the wheelchair seat (where your backrest meets the seat) to the front edge of the seat (where your thighs rest).
- For optimal pressure relief, ensure your cushion depth is slightly shorter than the entire seat depth to avoid pressure on the back of your knees.
